Truscotts Rd Level Crossing. The weekend of Aug 11/12 was booked for the upgrade of Truscotts Rd level crossing. Even with a lot of preparation work prior to the weekend, it didn't go entirely to plan! Falling quite short of having the crossing fully completed.
W 192 running over Truscotts Rd on the last Sunday running day, prior to the crossing upgrade. 5/8/07.
 Early start on the Saturday saw the track through the crossing removed by 10am. Micheal Whyman undoing the last of the track bolts for short section to be removed. 11/8/07.
 By lunch time on the Saturday the removal of the old ballast was well under way. 11/8/07.

 End of Saturday had the level crossing dug out and the spoil carted away. The man holes and associated cable ducts installed and a start made on the drainage. 11/8/07.
 Mid Sunday morning and the crossing base has been levelled and compacted. 12/8/07.
 Lunch time Sunday and the ballast base is being levelled and compacted by the digger. 12/8/07.

 Monday afternoon was spent lifting and shovel packing to improve the level of the new curve. Ahead, lots of lifting and tamping of the new track, and cutting, notching and drilling of the timber decking.13/8/07.
